Ulysses Boyd

I was convicted by a jury trial of one count of Murder in the Second Degree and sentenced to 50 years ot life. On August 23, 2021, Governor Andrew Cuomo granted me clemency. I had served over 35 years behind bars. I came home to a loving wife and an incredibly supportive group of family members, Criminal Justice Advocacy Lawyers, Transitional Re-entry Initiative Groups, and Islamic Brotherhood Services. Since day one of my release, I have worked as a community volunteer in the Islamic food pantry every Friday in Bronx, NY feeding seniors and other community folks, and with Outreach Community Affairs with Kristin Richardson Jordan (City Councilwoman Harlem District 9). In addition to volunteering, I have worked with Exodus Transitional Services as a De-escalator; Doe Fund Organization as a Security Guard in their affordable housing program; and S:US (Service for the Underserved) as a Case Manager for Homeless Services.
